Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner Candidate or Registered Nurse (Division 1)

An opportunity exists for a Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner Candidate or Registered Nurse (Division 1) to work at Frankston Pain Management.

This is a busy role, where you need to be efficient, proactive and enjoy multitasking.


Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Division 1 Registered Nurse by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). The preferred candidate will be a nurse practitioner or candidate.

To fulfil this role you will need:

  1. Excellent communication skills
  2. Computer literacy - Excel, Word, (Medical Director, medical practice software, an advantage)
  3. To be able to work as part of a team and be flexible to pick up tasks autonomously.
  4. To be well presented
  5. To be motivated to meet agreed targets
  6. To be willing to work in administration and all other tasks within a private clinic.

Duties include:

  1. Assisting the doctors with health assessments and office procedures
  2. Patient follow-up calls, collect and record treatment outcomes
  3. Record medications, patient history into Medical Director
  4. Check equipment and consumables
  5. General administrative duties in a private clinic.

Salary is negotiable, depending on your skills and experiences.

Experienced Health/Clinical Psychologist

Frankston Pain Management is seeking an experienced, compassionate and enthusiastic health/clinical psychologist to consult at FPMx.


Frankston Pain Management (FPMx) is a private pain clinic caring for patients with acute and chronic pain in Frankston, the Mornington Peninsula and Southeast Melbourne. FPMx operates as part of a network of providers to ensure comprehensive care. FPMx integrates interventional techniques with comprehensive medical management, physical rehabilitation and cognitive behavioural therapy. We have an established referral base and plenty of clients.

You will be working collaboratively with pain medicine specialists, an addiction specialist, rehabilitation specialists, psychiatrists, nurse practitioner and other clinicians to deliver comprehensive multidisciplinary care. You will be providing psychology informed pain management assessments, delivering pain management treatments to people with persistent pain to improve their function and support re-engagement in valued activities.

You must be a registered psychologist with current full registration with AHPRA (Psychology Board). You will be expected to have experience and interest in the field of psychology relating to chronic health conditions including chronic pain.

Frankston Pain Management clinicians operate as a collaborative network of providers to deliver comprehensive multidisciplinary care. The individual must be eligible for full registration with the Medical Board of Australia. The successful candidate will hold FFPMANZCA or be a Faculty Pain Medicine PDY trainee.
